In this series of podcasts we talk to the influencers and changemakers focused on active ageing. With a growing ageing population in the UK and across other parts of world innovators are developing new and impactful approaches to getting older adults more active, extending their years of quality life.
In this episode, we speak to David Sinclair, Director of the International Longevity Centre. The International Longevity Centre is the UK’s specialist think tank on the impact of longevity on society, and what happens next. Since their inception in 1997, they have published over 250 reports, and organised over 300 events including the annual Future of Ageing conference.
Specifically, we discuss trends around ageing populations, the value an older workforce can add to society, and how we can take inspiration from countries like Singapore and South Korea.
